Are you a resident of NYCHA and ready to design and launch your own business?
Through our 8-week incubation program, you will engage in a hands-on, intensive program to design and prepare your businesses for launching. The program will culminate in a business pitching competition, where you will present your ideas for seed funding.
You will gain
Education and Training
Weekly guidance through ideation, market research, concept validation, and prototyping. Through a rigorous 8-week curriculum, participants will design and test their business ideas, learning to present market insights and financial projections in a very hands-on setting.
Mentorship
Via the Journey Platform, Startup NYCHA connects aspiring entrepreneurs with successful business leaders for guidance, support, and networking opportunities.
Access to Capital
Facilitating connections with microfinance institutions and grant programs. In the final business pitch competition, participants will showcase their ideas and compete for seed funding.
Community Projects
Encouraging the development of businesses that thrive economically while contributing positively to the community's social and environmental wellbeing.

Ability to commit to 8 in-person incubator sessions, with 100% attendance, Saturdays, from April 6- August 27 from 3:00-5:00PM
